ISDC® 2022 Student Registration

ISDC® 2022 has already taken place. The following information is just for your reference.

Student Registration Steps

 

Step 1 – ISDC Conference Registration and Payment

Step 2 – NSS Space Settlement Contest Student Registration

Step 3 – Waiver and Forms

Step 4 – Request a Visa Invitation Letter, if required to enter the United States.

Step 5 – Oral Presentation and/or Poster Presentation Applications

NOTE: All entry forms must be completed before May 1, 2022.

Posters that have not been registered online will not be accepted for presentation at the conference.

Step #1: Conference Registration and Payment

Please click on the following link to register for the ISDC 2022 conference (this link is valid for all registrations, including: students participating in the Space Settlement Contest, chaperones, other students and all other attendees) :  ISDC Registration

 

Step #2: Space Settlement Contest Student Registration

Fill out and submit online the Space Settlement Contest Registration Form

 

Step #3: Waiver and Forms

Print and fill out these forms: ISDC 2022 Student Forms (summary of forms listed below):

1. Medical information form

2. Medical history form

3. Authorization for treatment for students under 18 years of age

4. Waiver of liability and medical consent

5. Image release form

Forms need to be printed, filled out, signed, scanned and emailed to ISDC Students.

 

Step #4: Visa Invitation Letter

We are no longer providing invitations to ISDC 2022. See you next year in Frisco, TX for ISDC 2023!

Check to see if you need a visa to enter the United States. Read this document for information about visas.

You should avoid registering for the conference (Step #1) if you don’t have an approved visa. While it is advised that you should make your hotel reservation early, check your hotel’s cancellation policy in case you need to cancel your trip. But do register with the Space Settlement Contest Student Registration (Step #2).

The visa approval procedure usually happens in two steps: 1) biometrics and 2) interview. You can read about the entire process here.

Important Note: Participants should apply for their visas as early as possible.

NOTE:

Posters must have their title & email contact also labelled on the back of the poster and it must be visible when rolled-up (e.g. by sticker, marker or printed).

Entry form must be completed and sent by May 1, 2022 to be considered for a slot.

A limited number of space settlement student teams will be assigned a poster session day and time during the conference. Confirmed teams are expected to stand beside their posters and communicate with conference attendees.
